8 oz. in North Miami Beach is hosting an inaugural Butcher Class/Tasting Event entitled “Butchery & Beer Series†on Monday September 10th starting at 8PM. The $ 75 per person class includes a Butcher Class (w/ a trapped Wild Everglades Boar), Stone Brewing Pairings with 4 Pork Tastings and a Pork Burger dinner after the class. Chef Al Sternweiler of Chicago’s Butcher & Burger and Glunz Tavern will be handling the pork duties.
Class Breakdown:
8:00 PM Reception: Stone Pale Ale with Home-Made Pork Crackling
8:15- 9:45 PM: Hog Butchery Class with Chef Al Sternweiler of Butcher & the Burger and Glunz Tavern
3 Pork Courses passed During Class, Paired with Smoked Porter, Arrogant Bastard, & Levitation.
9:45: Pork Burgers Served.
